Many analytics platforms offer APIs, webhooks or bots that can be added to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce or custom CRMs.
When a user mentions a metric or asks a question, the bot forwards the request to the analytics engine and returns a chart or narrative back into the conversation or record.
For example, a sales rep can type ‘/metrics pipeline by stage’ in Slack and see a chart.
